New composition of fire-resistant wall structures with CETRIS® boards
![]() | ||
Although expert studies, practical tests and experience from real life prove that wooden houses do not burn as much as they are often attributed, high flammability is a frequent argument against houses built of wood.
The cement bonded CETRIS® particleboards are included in the fire resistance class A2-s1, d0 – they are thus fireproof.
New fire resistance tests of another series of walls with a wooden bearing structure have proceeded recently. These tests have defined new compositions of walls with varied fire resistance jacketing compositions:
-
wall with a wooden bearing structure, jacketed on both sides with one layer of cement bonded CETRIS® BASIC particleboard 12 mm thick; mineral wool with fire resistance REI 30 can be inserted in the hollow.
-
a wall with a wooden bearing structure, jacketed on both sides with two layers of cement bonded particleboard CETRIS® BASIC 12 mm thick; mineral wool with fire resistance REI 60 can be inserted in the hollow.
